New Year...New Blog!

As you can see from our family photo I am now making this "The Page Family Blog" not just Madi's blog. However, we are a big part of "Madi's World" so the blog title will remain the same.

A little bit about this cute little photo up there...UGH!!! I didn't plan family pictures very well because I scheduled them on a daycare day, during nap time and at dinner time. Not too smart on my part. You see, on daycare days Madi comes home a whole different little one. She has just spent the day with many kids. She learns fast and picks up on rather interesting habits in the short little time she is there. Stories for another day.

Anyhow, we took probably 200 photos and this one was the only one with out tears, eyes closed (Tony) or the back of Madi's head. It turned out Fabulously!!!

I hope you enjoy this years blog. It is planning to be an adventurous one.

In Hidding...

Oh Boy, is all I have to say. Our little Madi really loves hiding from us. She hides under the bed, under the table, behind the chair in the end table...you name it she love to hide. My favorite is when she is hiding somewhere all I can hear is this little giggle coming from where she is hiding from. It cracks me up.

The other day I look something out to my car because I was getting ready to leave and I came back in and could not find Madison anywhere. I looked up stairs and down stairs and nothing. All of a sudden after calling her name for a few minutes I saw the sticks wiggle behind the lazyboy and this little faint giggle and sure enough she was hiding back there. Way too funny!!! You've gotta love it baby!!!

Let the New Year Begin

Our Holidays were Fantastic!!! On Christmas Madi wanted to open one present and play with it before she would open another one. Needless to day it took a couple days for us to finish opening presents. What a sweetie.

On New Years we hit 2 parties and were home before the ball dropped. :) Then we all stayed up watching countless episodes of Dora and Barney until 2:30 a.m. when we all dropped. What a fun night!!!

The new year turned a new leaf and that means no more bottle. The first day with no bottle I thought we all were going to go crazy. Talk about quitting cold turkey. It's getting better now.

I will you all a wonderful year of success and happiness.

Cheers to a new year!!!

So...Madi Hates Our Tree

The weekend after Thanksgiving is the weekend we set up our Christmas Tree and the holidays officially begin. It was definately time for us to get a new tree this year. We didn't want anything too big so we just got this cute 6.5 foot narrow tree with white lights from Sams Club. I think it is totally cute.

On Saturday we went over to Madi's Grandma and Grandpas to set up their new BIG 7.5 foot tree with multi-Colored lights. Madi fell in LOVE with that tree. Every time we go over there she has to turn on the Christmas Tree and look at it for about 5-10 minutes with everyone. She totally loves it. I was so excited that she was so into the tree and thought the same would happen at our house.

So we get home and set up our cute little tree. When we turned it on...she glanced at it and it didn't even phase her. No emotion what so ever. With my mom's tree she was totally into it...sighing and getting everyone to look at the tree but no not ours.

I proceeded to put the ornaments on the tree and still nothing. She couldn't care less about that bloomin tree.

She dislikes it so much that this morning I found some ornaments in my laptop bag...so now she is trying to dispose of the tree anyway she can. One piece at a time.

This is way too funny. We'll see what the rest of the holidays bring.

P.S. We took her to Temple Square and she LOVED the lights there so maybe she just doesn't like our tree.

Cute Birthday Pics

Here are some more pics of Madison's Birthday. She is so cute...
We totally LOVE you cute girl!!!

Madison Turns 2

On Sunday November 16th Madison turned 2 years old. We all had so much fun at her party. When everyone was starting to arrive for her party she was watching Barney on the big screen and was in what we call... her Barney trance. Every time she watched Barney she is in this trance that no one can break.

When Barney was over everyone had arrived and we decided to have dinner...Madi's favorite food...Fettuccine Alfredo. It was mmmmm delicious!!!

While we were finishing up dinner Madi came over to me, crawled up on my lap and went to sleep. I guess it is her party so I just let her take a nap. It was priceless.

While she was napping I showed the video I made with pictures of her throughout the last year. It was so amazing to see how much she had grown this past year.

Here are some of the pictures from her birthday.
