Burning Down The House
.
.
.
Long Story:
Learn from me!!! I always put a load in the washer before I take Madi to my moms in the morning so when I get back I can put it in the dryer. Something said to me this morning...don't leave with the washer going today. So I stalled for a while and just as I was rounding things up to leave I smelled a burning smell and smoke filling the house. I ran down stairs and smoke was billowing out of the washer. I lifted the lid and even more smoke was coming out. I unplugged it and smoke came out for another 15 - 20 miniutes. HOLY CRAP!!! .
.
I leave tomorrow for Vegas so way way bad timing on the washers part. Oh well... It Is What It Is. I will get through this with a smile on my face and a song in my heart.
P.S. Take it from me... Listen to those small voices and don't leave the house with the washer going. LOL

New Card Size…6X9 Merry Christmas
This card may seem a little big well thats because it is. I found these new envelopes that were 6 X 9 and they are sooo cute.
Products Used: My Minds Eye paper for the base of the card. Merry Christmas cut with my Cricut, tan ribbon, and ink.
I use a small piece of string to tie off the edges of this ribbon…I think it is a fun technique. Merry Christmas!!
I’ll Have A Blue n Brown Christmas
Products Used: Holiday stamps from JoAnns, distress Ink brown, white and brown ribbon, blue and brown diamond paper.
When working with ribbon make sure you have an odd number of ties…Odd numbers are more appealing to the eye than even numbers when designing.
Enjoy!!!

Seasons Greetings Santa
I LOVE making cards for the #10 envelopes. Products Used: My Minds Eye Santa cardstock, Tan ribbon, brown and red distress ink and seasons greetings cut from my Cricut.
This card was real simple to create. Cut and cold card to fit a #10 envelope. In this photo I notched out a little bit of the card on the left so I could thread the ribbon through and tie it.
I cut the season's greetings from my Cricut Expression and placed it on a mat piece of paper. Inked the paper and card then adhered the season's greetings to the card.
Enjoy!!!
